It hits with fantastic looking explosions and just general special FX. I'm playing Borderlands 3 now and the HDR is hit and miss at the same time. Or if the implementation is just shit, add a option in-game to disable it, instead of us constantly having to switch it on/off in the system depending on the game. And there are games out there that truly benefit from it and I wish this was the case for every game. #SKYRIM SWEETFX SKY TOO BRIGHT MOD#Unless someone can point me to a mod (or I find one myself) that brings back the vanilla color palette I will never fight Alduin and actually don't care a crap about it, because I find it simple, straight and real retardation.HDR can be a great improvement for a game ,if the implementation is well done. Not going back to vanilla, but neither intending to suffer the retardation of mixing the cold gritty nordic plains with the artistic coloring of the Simpsons. Guess that plan isn't working out due to the freaking Donald Duck color palette :-) #SKYRIM SWEETFX SKY TOO BRIGHT INSTALL#Modding in itself was really nice, but with the revamped graphics in SE, the actual reason I started modding, I removed vanilla and all mods, and said ok, only install the bare essential mods (enhanced blood, frostfall, Ineed, 360 hotkeys, dot crosshair) and actually play this game for a change. I spent years modding Skyrim vanilla which really got caried away as I've yet to play more than half way in. Even if some weather/time periods suffer less from it (like foggy weather), still I know that super saturated blue sky will re-appear and that simply spoils it for me. But now the CoT color scheme is the official color scheme !į*ck it, I bought it but can't get over those colors. CoT is exactly as comicy colored, the reason I steered well clear from that mod. I think they just checked popular mods on the Nexus, noticed the big crowd that liked Climates of Tamriel (retards) and thought catering to that. Yes, it's more colourly (if you find that a good thing) and possibly somewhat sharper, but at the same time sooo much less engaging and immersive for people who enjoy realism. Also the overly yellow/redish trees around Riften. I am absolutely baffled by this design choice. The blue sky over Whiterun belongs in Crysis 1 and Farcry 1, not in Skyrim. I sooo agree, to the point I am not playing it.
